Friends of Seton

Our friendly team who make up the Friends of Seton are a dedicated group of parents and teachers who support Seton School through a range of volunteering work, fundraising projects and much more.  We are always looking for new members and really appreciate any help that you can offer.  This might be a couple of hours of time supporting one of our events, shopping for refreshments or running a stall, preparing adverts and promoting fairs or coming up with new ideas to help us to enrich the experiences for our children.

We organise and run events throughout the year, such as the Christmas Fair, the Easter Bunny Drive and Bingo Nights and we also help out with events such as the Sports Day and the annual Sponsored Walk.  In recent years we have raised funds for a range of projects, including the purchase and installation of the Reading Cabin.  We make contributions towards the cost of school transport to enable children to access extra-curricular visits, for example to the theatre and to residential centres.

We are currently fundraising for the installation of a purpose-built running track on the school field, which will encourage children to develop an active lifestyle through the Daily Mile challenge.  We hope that this will also prove to be an invaluable resource for our community to use, so that sport becomes more readily accessible to all of our families.

Future projects include the renovation of our school library and the possibility of a community room/nurture room.

There are always activities we need help with so please join us!  Contact the school office for more details or see Louise Ward, Dawn Coultas or Traci Connorton.
