The School Day

Following a consultation in September 2023, the governors of Seton Community Primary School changed the timings of our school day.  Our school now exceeds the government's recommendation to provide 32.5hours of education.  In total, our school provides 33.75 hours each week.  (Nursery hours are non-statutory and are summarised below.)

Our free Breakfast Club continues to open from 8am for children from Reception to Year 6.  Children enter via the main entrance and they can enjoy a healthy breakfast and opportunties to socialise with their class mates and children from other year groups.  There are a variety of activities available, which are regularly changed to meet the children's interests.

All children must be in school by 8.45am as this is the start of the school day.  Any children arriving after this time are marked as late.
